Customer Demographics Reporting – This report will provide the
dollars spent by age bracket (user definable) and gender of the customer for a given
time period.
Rental Product Demographic Report - Report may be focused on a
Title, Format, Genre or pricing category. Report lists the dollars spent by age
bracket and gender for a given time period.
Merchandise Demographic Report - Report may be focused on an item,
department or one of the three "search" categories. Report lists the dollars spent
by age bracket and gender for a given time period.
Title Summary Report – A new title summary report has been created
in Phoenix. This report lists the titles selected on a single line with information
about the period selected: average active, turns, % out, revenue. Life information
is also displayed: life revenue, cost, profits, ROI%.
Automated Daily Backup – A backup routine has been added to Phoenix
and can automatically launch upon exiting the program. You can set the time when
the backup is to occur.
Title Search – A check box has been added to the title search windows
to restrict the titles listed in the window to only those titles with active copies.
Any title with no active copies will not show up in this window.
Batch Check-ins – The system will now preserve the state of the
“Automatic ADR” check box between sessions. This means that once you set how you
want the late fees to be handling during batch checkins, the system will operate
that way until you change the flag.
Batch Check-ins – A new shortcut to batch check-ins has been assigned
to the transaction window – Ctrl-B.
Transactions - Added the ability to display a transaction screen
message that will be scrolled for the employees to read. Message is edited via operational
controls.
Phoenix Utilities – Several utility programs have been created
to assist the retailer. Customer purge utility will delete inactive customers. Rental
product utilities include an orphan copy identifier that checks for rental product
copies without a title record, and a routine to validate assigned title codes (format,
genre, pricing category). A merchandise quantity on order routine will verify each
product’s on order field to open purchase orders. A rental product in/out status
validation routine will check each rental product’s status with the current transaction
file. A routine to check open transactions will list all transactions not closed
out and provide you the ability to close them.
