What is an upgrade?
An upgrade is a major release of a product, and in this case we are talking about
Phoenix for Windows. Within an upgrade, you might see new features introduced into
the software or perhaps a complete rewrite of an existing feature.
Unlike many other software developers who adjust a field size or add one report
and call it an upgrade, we take a different approach. When we release an upgrade
to Phoenix it will contain several new features not seen before in the software,
and perhaps a revamp of an existing system or function as well. Later on down this
page, you will get a chance to see exactly what I am talking about.
How we create upgrades
Just releasing an upgrade is not good enough, how you create the ideas for an upgrade
is equally important. The quality of an upgrade can be judged by how it affects
the users and what benefits they realize.
We feel that a good upgrade starts with our clients, the people using the software
every day in a business environment. From here we can learn what is important to
the user, and find ways to improve the system.
Upgrades are important
The reason upgrades are vital to the business owner is that they contain the latest
features and technology for the software. What this means to the user is that will
have all the latest tools to generate profits and success.
Business is tough, and you need every advantage to stay ahead of the game. One way
to do that is to get keep your software up-to-date with upgrades and use the new
features contained inside.
Previous upgrades
Phoenix for Window was created in 2001 and has kept ahead of the curve in the industry.
For example, as soon as Netflix introduced their subscription plan, we immediately
developed a subscription plan for Phoenix (and were the first in the POS arena to
introduce one).
